Welcome to Hyderabad College of Aviation Technology (HCAT), located at the campus of Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (Deemed to be University under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956) in the serene and lush green base of Velimalai, a spectacular part of Western Ghats Hills near the famous Padmanabhapuram Palace. It is only 1.5 kms interior towards the foothills of the mountains from Kumaracoil Junction on the Kanniyakumari – Thiruvananthapuram National Highway (NH-47). Hyderabad College of Aviation Technology was relocated from Hyderabad to Noorul Islam University campus and was absorbed by Noorul Islam Educational Trust and is made a part of Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE). HCAT is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation for conducting Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course. NICHE has made its name and fame for giving outstanding young Engineers to many Government bodies including the Defence Forces. A highly disciplined campus run by retired Defence officers and senior Professors, make it an anti-ragging campus. This is the only college in India which offers AICTE approved BE degree along with DGCA approved AME (CAR 147-Basic) course and provides 100% career growth with the STATE Of ART facilities. Apart from 20 streams in Engineering and other disciplines, NICHE imparts high quality education with affordable fees.

Library : The College library offers a variety of information sources from textbooks and periodicals to international database and access to the Internet. Students can also access information from electronic sources including databases, full text journals, newspapers, abstracts and a host of global resources in the library. College also has institution membership of British Council Library and American Library.
Auditorium : The College seminar hall can accommodate approximately 200 – 250 students. The space is air conditioned and equipped with projector, sound system and internet connection. Hence suitable for conducting any seminars and workshops.
Sports : The college has the sports facilities for all students.
Cafeteria : The College Canteen is the place where students wind up in groups and creative brilliance reflects. Yes canteen is not only for refreshment, it also is used to sit and write assignments, sometime just to talk, take peers opinion about the project that is going on or even the right place for someone starting a project to go for distributing survey forms as that is where maximum heads can be seen at one time.
B.Tech in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering(Bachelor of Technology in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering)
Candidates who have completed 3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering from any State board of Directorate of Technical Education. The trainees shall be subjected to a medical examination before they are admitted to the training institute by a registered medical practitioner holding at least an MBBS degree. Candidates shall not have any physical disabilities or colour blindness, which may interfere in discharging the duties as an AME. If any candidate is found to have submitted any forged or fake certificate, he/she will be dismissed from the Institute at any time during the course and no fee will be refunded.
