Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), in the past Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur (VRCE), is an open designing and research organization in India. It is situated in Nagpur, Maharashtra, in focal India.[3] It was built up in June 1960 by the Government of India and later named out of appreciation for designer, organizer and statesman, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
VNIT Nagpur is midway subsidized and has a place with the National Institutes of Technology (NIT) framework. In 2007, the foundation was presented the status of Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament of India. The foundation grants single guys, aces and doctoral degrees in science, innovation and design.
