The All India Institute of Health Sciences [AIIMS] aims to be at the heart of developing excellence in all aspects of health and wellness across India. AIIMS is a group of private public health institutions designated as "Institutes of National Importance" under the 1956 Act of Parliament. India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur It is one of the four AIIMS announced by the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) during the Budget 2014-15. On April 14, 2017, the Prime Minister of India, His Excellency Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, His Excellency Devendra Fadnavis laid the foundation stone of the institute at Meehan 20. Union Cabinet Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari of the Institute of Shipping (GoI) and other officials were present on the occasion. The main objective of AIIMS is to "rectify regional disparities in the provision of cost-effective tertiary health services and to improve the health education facilities of the country". The facility, spread over 150 hectares of land in the MIHAN Special Economic Zone, strives to provide the highest level of efficiency, health care, safety, and quality. and patient rights through high standards of evidence-based clinical practice. and clear management processes. The university has worked hard in a short period of time to provide medical education and training with all new facilities and aims to become a center of excellence in teaching, patient care and research. library : AIMS Nagpur has an indoor air-conditioned library with an area of 2,546 square meters. (G+2 House). The library has group study rooms and small meeting rooms. Admission to AIIMS Nagpur is based on the AIIMS Entrance Test. This test assesses the candidate's knowledge in physics, chemistry, biology and general knowledge. Candidates who want to register should register online at the official website of AIIMS within the specified registration period. After successful registration, candidates will receive an admission ticket indicating the date, time and venue of the exam. The AIIMS UG entrance exam is usually conducted in Computer-Based Test format. The results will be announced and a merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for counseling based on their merit. During the counseling process, candidates select the AIIMS institute of their choice.
