Master Smt. Mythili Raghavan is a postgraduate in Bharatanatyam from Kalakshetra, the legitimate establishment for expressive arts in Chennai. She has had the pleasure of being educated by incredible specialists, including those she affectionately alludes to as Atthai (Smt. Rukmini Devi Arundale), Gowri Pati, Sarada Teacher, Pushpa Teacher and Jaya Teacher.

Master Mythili Raghavan has gotten lofty honors for brilliance in Bharatanatyam, for example, the Iyal Isai Nadagam grant and, all the more as of late, the Pandita Rohini Bhate Puraskar. As a major aspect of the Kalakshetra troupe, she has visited Australia, the Fiji Islands, Nepal, and Singapore. Also, she has performed in Malaysia with the Dhananjayans, and has visited Sri Lanka all alone.

After her post-graduation, Guru Mythili Raghavan joined the Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir, Patna, as Professor of Bharatanatyam. She educated there for a long time, before setting up, in 1978, the Academy of Indian Dances. With exceptional consent from the Zambian government, the Academy of Indian Dances was set up in Lusaka, Zambia. After five years, the Academy moved base to Nigeria, where it kept on thriving. Since 1991, the Academy of Indian Dances has been situated in Pune, preparing several artists, a considerable lot of whom have effectively finished their Arangetram. Master Mythili Raghavan has sorted out various exhibitions, including two move ballet productions – one on Lord Krishna called 'Kasturi Tilakam', and the other on the Ramayana.
