More than two decades ago, as early as 1977, the Lord gave to two dedicated servants of God in Seoul, Korea, the vision of adopting India as their mother country and to found such Christian institutions as were deemed necessary for equipping and training young men and women for the propagation of the Gospel message. In very truth it could be claimed that the founding of these institutions were made plausible by the experience gained during the five years in North Africa and later starting the M.T.C (Missionary Training Centre) in Bombay in 1984 for church leadership and equipping reliable, dedicated Christians for evangelism and church planting. As such establishing the Asia Evangelical College & Seminary, St. Paul School, and the School of Mission and Evangelism since March 1988 in Bangalore was the result of all previous experiences.That the founding of ASIA EVANGELICAL COLLEGE & SEMINARY was in the fulfillment of the purposes of our Lord God and Jesus Christ by the leading of the Holy Spirit is validated by the fact that such an institution is needed not only for providing training from a biblical perspective, but in these times of persecution and hostilities, to promote the kingdom of God, and to prepare ministers and evangelists who will proclaim the Gospel of Christ without fear or lethargy. ASIA EVANGELICAL COLLEGE & SEMINARY marks the realization of the vision of the founders.

It is housed in a separate building with a carpet area of 1006.32 Sq.ms, reading space 504.68 sq. ms.. It has around 85790 including, books, back volumes of technical national and international journals, technical pamphlets, standards, CD-ROMs, Video cassettes etc. The database of entire library acquisitions was created using Library Application Software Called KOHA software.

400mts running tack is available which using for multipurpose (Foot Ball, Hockey, Hand Ball, and Cricket) One Basket Ball cement court is available Five open Shuttle courts are available in the campus One Kho – Kho court One Kabaddi court, Two Volley Ball Courts, Two Table Tennis Boards are available in the campus One Throw Ball court and One Tennicoit courts existing in the campus.

There was no campus placement. Although my first job as editor paid me close to 8k per month. Almost 80% of the batch joined somewhere and rest started something on their own or work as freelancer.
As the college doesn't provide any placements as its degree is enough for getting any good job. We have to go off campus for placement as some of my senior are placed in India tv, aajtak news channel.
Placements and job opportunities are also great. Companies often visit the college during the end of the final semester and almost every student gets placed from the college itself, if he/she could not manage to get it on their own.
The placement was really nice. We were informed two days prior to the selection process. The interviews and written test were there for fair selection. I was lucky to get selected first by the company.
We do not have placements for BA, BMS students however the engineering college in the campus i.e. Sardar Patel Institute of Technology has placements.
