Stella Maris college moved in1960 to its gift field : The Cloisters” on Cathedral Road within the heart of town of Chennai. painter Maris faculty ( Autonomous) has aimed to present a holistic education that is sound, in theory much applicable, will increase employability and demonstrates social values & community responsibility.
Infrastructure and services are designed up over the years in order that students have the mandatory amenities and therefore the latest addition is that the painter Maris faculty Extension Project Center ( SMCEPC).
The painter Maris faculty Extension Project Centre at Thirupachur Village, Thiruvallur District of state, was blessed and inaugurated by His Grace Rt. Rev. Dr St. George Antonysamy, bishop of Madras - Mylapore on Saturday fifteen November 2014 within the presence of Sr. Leena D'Souza, Provincial. The day was specially chosen by The Franciscan Missionaries of Madonna, painter Maris Convent, Chennai, since it commemorates the holiday of their founding father, Blessed Madonna of the fervour. many FMM sisters, priests, benefactors, friends and well-wishers were gift for the operate.
