Texcity Arts and Science college, a mile stone in education was supported within the year 1998 and is placed within the Palathurai Road, close to Madukkarai market. Texcity Arts and Science school, is connected to the Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. it's travel by the Texcity Medical and academic Trust rendering the ideals of service to the lesser priviledged strata of society. Recognising the importance of upper education, the Trust sent up a proposal to the govt. of Tamilnadu and Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore to determine ANd run an Arts and Sciences school at Coimbatore and so proceed to meet the norms stipulated by the govt. . and therefore the University. As per G.O. No.: 171 dt.27-8-98 and of the University Letter No. 14421/A1/97 dt.27/8/98, the school came into being on thirty first August '98, providing four college man degree Courses.
