Adhiyamaan College of Engineering is one of the educational institutions developed by Adhiyamaan Educational & Research Institution - a trust, which was started in the year 1987-1988 to cater the needs of the nation in the development of technocrats and to provide facilities for educating and training men and women to meet the entrepreneurial and management needs. The management has created adequate infrastructural facilities and sufficient funds and is keen on developing the institution for higher education.It is the first Engineering College to be started in the most backward erstwhile Dharmapuri District of the State of Tamilnadu to develop the people academically, socially and economically. It was originally affiliated to University of Madras. When the Periyar University was carved out from the University of Madras; it was affiliated to it. Since the government of Tamilnadu decided to bring all the Engineering and Technical Institutions in the State under one Technological University in the year 2001, Adhiyamaan College of Engineering was affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. The college is housed in Adhiyamaan Educational & Research Institutions Campus, Dr.M.G.R Nagar, Hosur. The Campus is spread over an area of 250 acres abutting National Highway NH-7.

Our College has 200 Mbps Internet connection(leased Line) locally networked & connected through Fiber Optic Cables.The central Library server is available for students for their study Purpose. It also gives access to e-books,study materials,previous question papers,daily circulars,etc. through college Local Area Network. Internet facilities in the well-equipped internet lab provide high speed of connectivity so that, the students can surf the net to gather unlimited information.
Transport
The college has a fleet of 166 buses to transport students and staff from various parts of the city and its neighborhood areas to the college and back home. Transport facility will be arranged to every student. Every student is expected to avail the transport facility to enable him/her to be punctual to come to the college.
Sports
Great importance is given to sports in PANIMALAR besides academic activities. Students can get relieved and focused on physical activities. Sports activities help the students to keep them physically, mentally, emotionally and intellectually fit. Our college provides a good platform for the students to get acquainted with both indoor and outdoor games.

The placement cell continuously works to identify requirements of companies and co-ordinates with the training cell and the career development cell to train the students. The Team maps the right talent to the right industry. It has been working meticulously to achieve 100% placements year after year. The placement cell focuses more on giving opportunities in core industries to the students.The placement cell has introduced “Earn While You Learn” model through paid internships. The students are prepared for interview and are placed for internship. The students are paid a stipend, ranging from Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 25,000/- during their internship period. The internship model helps the students and the corporate to understand each other better, paving way for the students to get placed in the companies. The cell continuously monitors their progress and facilitates the students to upgrade their skill-set appropriately. Special timetable and procedures are designed to facilitate the students to complete their regular curriculum during their internship.
