The BDS course offered by Rajasthan Dental College & Hospital commenced in September 2003 where as MDS course started in June 2011. It is housed in a self-contained four-storey building, having a built-up area of 154,000 sq. ft., and is one of the premier dental college in Rajasthan. The building includes pre-clinical dental laboratories, lecture halls, a conference centre, faculty offices, administrative offices, clinical treatment areas, small group discussion areas, and a well stocked library. Sufficient area has been earmarked for future expansion and also to commence post-graduate programmes as well as to carry out research activities.Hundred (100) students are admitted to the BDS course in the College every year. The duration of the course is 5 years including 1 year compulsary rotating internship. The curriculum is in accordance with the Dental Council of India regulations. An integrated approach combining extensive clinical practice with rigorous course work promotes a better understanding of dentistry and its relationship to overall health. High quality training facilities are available in Craniofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery apart from regular classes in all specialities in dentistry such as Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Periodontics & Implantology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Pathology & Microbiology, and Community Dentistry. The students are exposed to maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation carried out in the Department of Prosthodontics.

Hostel
Well furnished hostel accommodation is provided separately for Boys and Girls. These are located with adequate open space and gardens around them within the campus. Both the hostels are having good spacious rooms with study tables and cupboards. More rooms can be added to meet the increasing demand from the students. Common Mess is there for Girls and Boys.
Library
A spacious and well-equipped library with latest textbooks, reference books and journals. The library also subscribes to Indian and foreign journals on dental and volumes of the journals is also available for reference keeping pace with the developments in the field of information technology. The library provides Internet Services like surfing the desired educational website.
Own Hospital
We have our own 100 bedded hospital, which is the most modern hospital of its kind in the state of Rajasthan. It offers outstanding medical facilities as well as medical expertise to all who knock its doors. It has all modern required facilities e.g. Private rooms (air-cooled), ICU, Special care neo-natal Unit, Operation Theatre, wards, Emergency (24 hrs. service), Consultation Chambers, captive gensets, drug stores, computer networking, orthotics and prosthetics workshop, indoor patient attendant block, cafeteria, communication centre, maintenance workshops, laundry, residential accommodation for doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, staff and patient attendant vehicle parking, resting place and sitting arrangement for attendants.
Audio Video & Other Services
Library has a separate Audio-Video section.A well-furnished hall for viewing the educational videocassettes is provided. Library processes a significant number of educational audio and videocassettes. Library also offers photocopying, current awareness and documentation services besides routine conventional library services.

Because of the fact that the future is dependent on in - depth study and hands -on experience, the young student needs to identify himself with research and development at this early stage. Candidates would be required to fulfil all the conditions as spelt out in the information Brochure.
Minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination shall be the eligibility criteria to apply for the course. It doesn't mean confirmed admission in the said course.
Admission shall be made on the basis of criteria given in the information Brochure.
All the eligible candidates shall be required to appear personally before the Counseling Committee/Student Cell for verification of documents and checking of eligibility.
The candidates shall present all the required certificates/documents/testimonials in original along with attested photocopies to the Admission Committee/Student Cell for verification and record. The admission will be confirmed after approval from Admission Committee.
Admission to the applied course and class would be confirmed subject to submission of required documents and applicable fees.
The eligibility of the candidates shall be ascertained at the time of admission.
The candidates, who do not get admission in one round of counseling, shall be eligible for admission in subsequent round, if vacant seats are available.
The decision of the Admission Committee/College Management in all matters relating to the admissions shall be final.
