Kongu Engineering College establishes Center of Excellence (CoE) to enhance the skills and knowledge of students and faculty in various emerging technologies. The CoEs are equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities relevant to the specific field of study, includes advanced laboratories, specialized equipments, software, and other resources necessary for hands-on learning and practical applications. Students have the opportunity to gain practical experience and hands-on training, preparing them for real-world challenges in their core industry. It also engages students and faculty in industry-relevant projects and provides practical exposure and helps to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements.It serves as hubs for continuous learning and knowledge upgradation. Regular workshops, seminars, and training sessions conducted within the CoE, help the students and faculty to have the insight on latest developments in their field and plays a role in promoting research and innovation within a specific domain.

"One best book is equal to hundred good friends but one good friend is equal to a Library" - Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Our college has a well-stacked automated central library with 20000 volumes of technical books, books in science and humanities, national and international journals, CDs and leading newspapers, magazines and e-library. Every student is a member of the library and can have free and open access to and can borrow all books, journals and newspapers. CDs can also be borrowed for home viewing.
Internet
Our College has dedicated Internet Leased line of 10 Mbps, connected with Internet Lab and Library. Students and faculties are free to access Internet. This helps the students to prepare papers on the latest technologies to be presented in various symposiums and seminars.Interested students who are willing to go abroad for further studies can take up tests such as GRE and TOEFL, take up online mock test and also browse through websites of various universities of higher education around the world. The access speed enables the Students and Staff to download and upload files at a fast rate.
Canteen
A large Canteen with a capacity of 100 members to dine at the same time enables all students and staff to have lunch and breakfast. A large modern kitchen with steam cooking is attached to the mess hall. A modern bakery and ice-cream are attached to the mess. There is a separate floor one each for Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian in the Canteen to dine.

Daily trips of college buses are available from specific boarding points covering all the nearby places in Erode district and Kerala.
Sports
Kongu Engineering College has a Physical Education department which promotes Sports and Games. The college has very good play ground and facilities for sports and games like Cricket, Volley ball, Football, Shuttle and Ball badminton, Chess, Carrom, Fencing etc. Kongu Engineering College have gained a reputation for preparing and encouraging good sportsmen. Many students represent the University in various sports and games. A few students of the college have excelled and become National level sportsmen.
Hostels
Kongu Engineering College offers comprehensive hostel facilities within the campus. We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe hostels within the campus, providing a homely atmosphere. Kongu Engineering College offers separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day. The menu is designed to cater to a range of taste buds.

Our College is concerned about each student's overall well-being while enrolled at MACET. As such, one of the services we provide is an on-campus health clinic that meets the normal, day-to-day health needs of our students. The College Campus Clinic is Run and managed under the guidance of qualified and experienced doctors. Backed by a modern diagnostic centre. Staffed with doctors, nurses, counselors and a psychologist.The students with special medical needs are encouraged to contact the Campus Clinic before they apply to ensure that all their needs are provided for.

The placement cell continuously works to identify requirements of companies and co-ordinates with the training cell and the career development cell to train the students. The Team maps the right talent to the right industry. It has been working meticulously to achieve 100% placements year after year. The placement cell focuses more on giving opportunities in core industries to the students.The placement cell has introduced “Earn While You Learn” model through paid internships. The students are prepared for interview and are placed for internship. The students are paid a stipend, ranging from Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 25,000/- during their internship period. The internship model helps the students and the corporate to understand each other better, paving way for the students to get placed in the companies. The cell continuously monitors their progress and facilitates the students to upgrade their skill-set appropriately. Special timetable and procedures are designed to facilitate the students to complete their regular curriculum during their internship.
