Under activity of the accompanying decent individuals, the primary general body meeting was held under the presidentship of Sj. Harihar Karan in the patio of the Rajabati at 4p.m. on dt. 5.11.1976 In that gathering, it was collectively chosen to open a school at Daspalla in which Late Chakradhar Prusty and Sj. Radhamohan Subudhi carried the duty of the President and Secretary of the College Governing Body individually. 

The College began working in the year 1977. with an underlying asset of Rupees One Lakh given by Dr. Jagat Mohan Subudhi,the NRI in the USA who happens to be the senior sibling of the secretary. There were just sixty eight understudies, six lecturers,one clerk,one peon and one night watcher. The school kept running in the castle of Raja Sahib, Daspalla. So the College is obliged to his Excellency Sj.Purnachandra Deo Bhanj,the Raja Sahib of Daspalla for his generosity. In 1977 the collge gave just middle in Arts(I.A) course under Utkal University. In 1981 the personnel of trade was opened. At that point the Degree courses in Arts was begun in the year 1989. The school confers instructing in +2 Science stream from 1994.
