St Xavier's College partnered to the college of Kerala is set up and kept up by the Jesuits of Kerala region, and is situated at Thumba in Thiruvanathapuram region of Kerala State, South India. At its commencement in 1964, it was a piece of Loyola Institutions at Sreekariyam in Thiruvananthapuram. 

On 10 Oct 1963, the Kerala Jesuit Society applied for beginning Loyola Junior College on the Loyola College grounds, Srikaryam, Thiruvananthapuram.
