Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Ahmedabad was established in August 1994, with associate degree objective of impartation educational activity in varied fields of engineering and technology. This institute is recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Institute of Engineers (India). the faculty is administrated by a board of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar and is related to Gujarat Technological University. VGEC shifted to its own field at Chandkheda, Ahmedabad within the year 2004.
