The college had been established in 1999, propelled by the need for an institution of higher learning in the area. The philanthropic contributions of local residents and educationists enabled the construction of a one storey edifice. This humble beginning has eventually led to the development of separate multi-storeyed buildings for office, academic, vocational and residential purposes. In the initial years, it was guided by Dr. Ramchandra Mondal as a Teacher-in-Charge till Dr. Asim Kumar Manna took over as the Principal in January 2001. Under his leadership, the college has blossomed into a proficient workshop of man-making. It has not only fostered the study of humanities but also diversified into science subjects like Aquaculture, Zoology, Botany and Anthropology. It has focused on a holistic view of education and hence has fruitfully nurtured departments of Music and Physical Education. The College has developed an active Vocational section, teaching courses on Computer, Electronics and Healthcare. It has also contributed in grooming the youth as patriotic citizens and has consistently engendered participants for the National Cadet Corps and the National Service Scheme. After Dr. Manna's retirement, Dr. Gautam Dandapat took over responsibilities as the Teacher-in-Charge. Recently, Dr. Suvroma Gupta has assumed the responsibilities of Principal and under her leadership, the College aims to extend its wings towards achieving greater academic excellence.

Anti Ragging Cell
UGC/AICTE Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions 2007. They are also informed about various penal and administrative actions that may result if one is found guilty of ragging, either actively or passively.
Gymnasium
A fully equipped Gymnasium has been set up by the financial assistance of Youth Service and Sports Department, Government of West Bengal.
Hostel
Khejuri College Babu Jagjivan Ram Central Girls’ Hostel (SC) provides boarding and messing facilities for Scheduled Caste girl students of the college and the adjoining area. Students studying in classes XI and XII can also reside in the Hostel. The total capacity of the hostel is 100 residents.
Smart Classroom
The College has an air-conditioned smart Classroom provided with broadband connection, overhead projector, computer and audio system. This is regularly used by various Departments for ICT enabled classes as well as for accessing Web Lectures or attending Webinars.
Seminar Hall
The Seminar Hall of Khejuri College has been witness to various Seminars, Workshops, Add-on Courses and Skill-Enhancement Initiatives. The Hall is air-conditioned and is provided with overhead Projector. It has a seating capacity of about one fifty spectators.
Canteen
The College has separate Canteen for Staff and Students. To ensure safe drinking water for students, a water filter has been setup. Moreover, an RO Filter provides drinking water supply to the AdministrativeBuilding for the staff.
