Vet First Grade College being one of the units of Vasavi Educational Trust was established in the year 1996 and has completed 27 years of glorious service to the society in the field of education. The institution started just with B.Com program affiliated to Bangalore University, subsequently introduced other UG and PG programs which are now listed under Bengaluru City University. It aims to promote and sustain high academic principles while retaining the strong value system and ethics and believes in the rich culture of the motherland with special emphasis on practice based learning. Vet First Grade College branched out in several directions and has registered tremendous growth in terms of size, number and dimensions. The college has been accredited by NAAC and also recognized by UGC and is included under 2(f) in 2012 and 12(B) in 2016. The College has a strength of 792 students for the academic year 2023-24 and 28 dedicated, competent and well qualified faculty members for teaching and good number of visiting faculty having expertise in their own field. The College has maintained high quality in academic pursuits and it has state of art campus, infrastructure, laboratories and well equipped lecture halls with ICT enabled learning. The institution aims at uncompromising commitment towards excellence in education.

Library : The students who love reading are free to read and exchange books at any convenient time. New arrivals are displayed in the library for student reference. The online public access catalog has been facilitated to students, faculty and library staff.
Laboratories : The VET FGC has state-of-art laboratories for every stream of computers, science, and commerce. With the latest equipment to create interest among the students and provide real-time experimenting experience and opportunity to assimilate the knowledge under able and trained laboratory assistants.
I.T Infrastructure : The College well-equipped computer lab to provide a learning environment and user policy services provided to a defined community for internet access, hardware or software optimized tasks or processes, computer-aided designing, 3D designing, and Programming are some of the various multipurpose activities conducted. The computer consists of 54 desktops with Wifi enabled accessibility of 150 Mbps speed, Projectors, and a printer which augments the lab setup. It is well ventilated and maintained.
Sports : The college gives equal prominence to sports activities which are required for the overall physical and intellectual development of the students. The college has a sports room, which is a hub of many indoor games like carom, table tennis, chess and many more. These games inculcate the spirit of true sportsmanship among students. Carrom - It is a game that develops bonding among students and at the same time relaxes and refreshes their minds. Table Tennis - It’s a game that requires great hand-eye coordination and improves concentration and mental alertness among students, thus making them more attentive in academics. Chess - It is a game that improves creativity among students and also makes them more efficient in problem-solving. It improves their neural qualities.
Cafeteria : “Food for thought”. The college offers canteen facilities to the students. The canteen offers homely hygienic food and sumptuous food to the students. It maintains the necessary cleanliness and hygienic in preparing and serving the food to students
Boys Hostel : A hostel for boys with a homely atmosphere has been provided to facilitate the candidates from outside. The hostel has all the facilities Applications may be obtained from the office after getting the admission to the course. The allotment will be at the decision of the management. The rules and regulations of the hostel to be followed by the inmates rigidly.
Parking Facility : The College has provided parking for students, faculty, administrators, staff, and visitors on our campuses. The college provides on the premises ample parking for two-wheelers as well as four-wheelers vehicles and separate parking facilities for students and faculty members. But those who park their vehicles have to abide by certain rules and restrictions.
Medical/Hospital : The health room has been set up with first aid facilities for students as well as staff members. We also organize health awareness programs for the benefit of students.

Candidates willing to take admissions at the college must satisfy VET First Grade College , Bangalore courses eligibility criteria.
Then the candidates must appear and qualify for entrance exam.
The qualified candidates must register for the counselling process and upload all the required documents.
Once the documents are verified, candidates must fill out the VET First Grade College , Bangalore as their preferred college.
Seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination and choice filling.
Finally, the candidates must report to the respective college allotted along with a seat acceptance fee receipt, seat allotment letter and prescribed documents.
