Established in 1959, Kokrajhar Govt. College is one of the oldest colleges in Lower Assam. At K.G.C., we believe in all round education and to bring out the best in every individual. This College began with the mission of educating the economically weaker section of the society, specially the Bodo youths, who could not afford to pursue higher education in other places. Today, after 60 years of its establishment, we can proudly claim that we have done justice to our mission. Our endeavor has been to offer an integrated and holistic education with particular focus on intellectual, cultural and social development of the students to make them compassionate and committed human beings.
