Caarmel Engineering College (CML) established in the year 2002 is a leading co-educational private self financing Institute offering Undergraduate Degree courses in Engineering and Postgraduate Degree courses in Management. The college was brought into existence by the Caarmel Educational Trust which is owned and managed by the Believers Church, headquartered at Thiruvalla, Kerala. From its idyllic location, away from the cacophony of nearby towns, the college, since its inception, has evolved over the years in tune with the educational needs and challenges of a technologically exploding world.Caarmel Engineering College is located in a serene and picturesque campus of about 120 acres, nestled amidst beautiful wooded hills, at an altitude of about 1000 m above Mean Sea Level, in Perunad of Pathanamthitta Dist., on the south-eastern part of Kerala.The campus, designed as a knowledge centre, that is one with nature, is about 1.5 kms to the left, away from the main road stretch off 4 kms from Perunad, en route to Sabarimala. The major towns close-by are Pathanamthitta and Ranni which are about 27 & 20 kms away, respectively. The nearest railway stations are Chengannur which is about 43 kms and Thiruvalla about 52 kms away. The climate throughout the year is very pleasant and the ambience devoid of pollution, making the campus an ideal home for scholarly work.

Computer Laboratory
Considering today's need for computerization, our College is proud to have all the infrastructure facilities in certain faculties such as Commerce, Geography and Mathematics. These departments have their own computer laboratories with modern equipment and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Mathematica, Matlab, Latex, C++ software, etc.) to meet the needs of students. In addition, the library also has an e resource center, which provides access to e resources among other things.
Library
Shahid Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized barcode library. The library has a computer lending system with barcodes. We have two computers dedicated to OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) book searches. This collection is enriched by his over 86,796 books on various research fields. The library also subscribes to over 100 of his periodicals in various fields (national and international, specifically Harvard Business Review, The Economist, etc.). The library also has a small computer lab for accessing electronic resources subscribed to by the College of Delhi through the College's intranet and the Internet. The Library also holds orientation programs from time to time and provides orientation in electronic resources for accessing bibliographic databases and full text databases available through the College's intranet and the INFLIBNET Consortium and Information Literacy Program. Students are encouraged to inquire about various library services with Dr. Puja Anand Gulati, Librarian.
Canteen
The College campus has a spacious and well ventilated canteen building with ample seating, separate from the academic blocks. We provide students and faculty with a variety of snacks, food, tea, coffee, and other beverages at low prices. The canteen committee monitors food quality, care and hygiene. A proposal to renovate the cafeteria was recently approved by the Building Committee and Board of Directors.
Seminar Rooms
The College has two seminar rooms equipped with state of the art equipment. The College organizes seminars, workshops and lectures with the active participation of students and teachers. Prominent scientists and experts from academic and business organizations are invited to interact with students and give lectures.
