Dr. B.R .Ambedkar Govt .Polytechnic is situated in Una in Himachal Pradesh state of India. Established in 1996, DBRAGP is a Private college. The college is affiliated with Shree Somnath Sanskrit University and accredited by AICTE. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Govt. Polytechnic offers 6 courses across 1 streams namely Engineering .Popular degrees offered at D.R. B.R. Ambedkar Govt. Polytechnic include Diploma .besides a robust teaching pedagogy, D.R.B.R .Ambedkar Govt .Polytechnic is also a leader in research and in novation .Focus is given to activities beyond academics at Dr. B.R. Boys hostel
The College has a boy's hostel is located within the campus with accommodation for 120 students. The rooms are airy and hygienic. A full fledged hostel management system runs the system smoothly. A good number of newspapers and magazine facilities are available in the hostels. Spacious and well-ventilated rooms. with adequate tables .chairs cupboard etc. are available to give the students a perfect homely stay Facilities for certain out doorgames like Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, and Cricket are provided on the campus.
Girls Hostel
The College has a Girls' hostel located on the campus with accommodation for 60 students .The rooms are spacious and well-ventilated with adequate tables, chairs, cupboards etc . A special arrangement has been made for the safety, security, and privacy of the girls residing in the hostel.
Library
The College has Polytechnic has a common library with approx. 7,000 books by different authors on various subjects. The library has subscribed to six different journals and magazines to keep the students and faculty up to date with the fast-changing technology of today's world. The total built-up area of the library is approx. 300 sq. meter, which includes 100 sq. meters reading hall. As the library is well-ventilated and lighted, it offers a very pleasing environment for the students to study. The library is equipped with 10 computer systems with the latest configurations and has various LR media.
I.T Infrastructure
The Institute has a well-furnished computer center. The computer center is equipped with 60 computers of the latest configurations/specifications. All the latest software is installed spanning even beyond the curriculum so that the students continually upgrade their knowledge and skills. The computer center provides basic computer education/literacy to the students of various disciplines in this institute.

Training and Placement Cell
The College has a Training and Placement Cell which is headed by Dr. Rajesh Sharma (H.O.D. Comp. Engg.). In every academic year, there is 70 - 80 % placement of passed students in various Industries / Organisations / Service Centres in Govt. & Private Sector. The library has also a separate book bank for SC students. The SC students benefited from this Book and extra coaching classes.
