Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha Puttur ® (Formerly known as Puttur Education Society ®) was built up in 1915. Vivekananda College of Education was set up in 2004 and it was supported by Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha Puttur ®. VVS has supported 24 instructive foundations in rustic and urban territories. These organizations are Primary schools, High schools, Polytechnic, Engineering College, Pre-University College, Degree College, B.Ed and D.Ed College. Vivekananda College of Education is working in an extensive structure in Viveka Nagara, Thenkila, Puttur in Dakshina Kannada District. The College is one KM away from Puttur transport stand. Complete degree of the land is 9 sections of land and it is in the by-pass street.
Network Living Camp – The College composes network living camps according to the standards of Bangalore University where different social exercises are directed to give the understudies a solid learning condition.
