Mizoram Polytechnic, Lunglei is the main Polytechnic in the state . It was set up in 1981 with 60 quantities of understudy admission in Civil Engineering with the ensuing presentation of Electrical Engineering in 1988 and Mechanical Engineering in 1991 with an admission of 30 understudies and 20 understudies individually. Office od Computer Science was presented in the scholarly session 1999-2000 with an admission of 30 understudies.
The foundation is situated at Hrangchalkawn which is 8km from Lunglei, the District capital. Lunglei is situated at around 160 kms. from the capital city of Aizawl.
