Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA) is the Administrative Training Institute of the Government of Maharashtra, and meets the preparation needs of government divisions and country and urban non-authorities and partners. Human asset improvement has customarily been one of Maharashtra's real qualities. The significance of advancing sound and responsive regulatory frameworks was acknowledged as far back as 1963 when the Administrative Staff College (ASC) was set up in Mumbai. The ASC was moved at Pune in 1984 and renamed "Maharashtra Institute of Development Administration" (MIDA).MIDA,constituted as a self-ruling society under the Societies Registrations Act, 1860, was to fill in as the pinnacle body for advancing and creating present day the board rehearses and was to work as the nodal state level preparing foundation in the field of advancement organization. Appropriately enough, it was rechristened, "Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration" (YASHADA) in 1990, as a tribute to the spearheading soul of the late Shri Y. B. Chavan, previous Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Deputy Prime Minister of India, who had propelled the setting up of the ASC.
