Why Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute?

The Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute is an organization under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) with the command for growing new methods for the plan of rural analyses just as to break down information in farming. 

The establishment is associated with and is situated in the grounds of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, a regarded college, at Pusa in New Delhi.

On 2 July 1959 it was renamed as the Institute of Agricultural Research Statistics (IARS). 

In 1964, a Memorandum of Understanding was marked with the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi and courses in M.Sc. furthermore, Ph.D. degrees were advertised.
