Hindu College of Pharmacy (HCOP) was established in the year 1999, as per the norms of AICTE and PCI under the Chairmanship of Late Sri Madhavapeddi Radhakrishna Murthy, a renowned Advocate and Dr. Mannava Radhakrishna Murthy, a reputed Physician & Professor as its Secretary and Correspondent. The latter is presently the Chairman of the College and Sri Jupudi Rangaraju, a renowned Advocate of the city is the Secretary & Correspondent. HCOP is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and is located in the heart of the city in a sprawling 3 acre campus. The College is well equipped with state-of-art laboratories, library, gymnasium and canteen, apart from a sophisticated Animal House and herbal garden. Other salient features are a potentially dedicated Faculty, latest teaching methods, Intensive & Remedial Coaching, training for competitive examinations, air conditioned Seminar Hall, active Placement Cell, Industry-Institute Interaction Cell and facilities for Computer training, soft skills, personality development and extra and co-curricular activities.The courses offered include D.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy in five specialities, i.e Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Management & Regulatory Affairs and Pharm.D To evolve, by 2025, into one of the top institutions of excellence in pharmacy education, training, research and community outreach.

Computer Laboratory
Considering today's need for computerization, our College is proud to have all the infrastructure facilities in certain faculties such as Commerce, Geography and Mathematics. These departments have their own computer laboratories with modern equipment and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Mathematica, Matlab, Latex, C++ software, etc.) to meet the needs of students. In addition, the library also has an e-resource center, which provides access to e-resources among other things.
Library
Shahid Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized barcode library. The library has a computer lending system with barcodes. We have two computers dedicated to OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) book searches. This collection is enriched by his over 86,796 books on various research fields. The library also subscribes to over 100 of his periodicals in various fields (national and international, specifically Harvard Business Review, The Economist, etc.). The library also has a small computer lab for accessing electronic resources subscribed to by the College of Delhi through the College's intranet and the Internet. The Library also holds orientation programs from time to time and provides orientation in electronic resources for accessing bibliographic databases and full-text databases available through the College's intranet and the INFLIBNET Consortium and Information Literacy Program. Students are encouraged to inquire about various library services with Dr. Puja Anand Gulati, Librarian.
Canteen
The College campus has a spacious and well-ventilated canteen building with ample seating, separate from the academic blocks. We provide students and faculty with a variety of snacks, food, tea, coffee, and other beverages at low prices. The canteen committee monitors food quality, care and hygiene. A proposal to renovate the cafeteria was recently approved by the Building Committee and Board of Directors.
Seminar Rooms
The College has two seminar rooms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The College organizes seminars, workshops and lectures with the active participation of students and teachers. Prominent scientists and experts from academic and business organizations are invited to interact with students and give lectures.
