Indian Institute of Gem and Jewelery (IIGJ) Mumbai was established in 2003 through the efforts of GJEPC and with support from Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Recently restructured courses are in alignment with industry requirements and are even more intensive and comprehensive, aimed at providing IIGJ students with the best in gem and jewellery education.

Admission Process of Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery in Mumbai

1. Candidates wishing to enroll in the first-year course should apply online. Complete forms must be submitted via the College website.

2. Applicants must upload original documents and a recent passport size photo.

3. The admission form recommended by admission committee and approved by the Principal entitles a candidate to deposit the prescribed fee within the stipulated period.

4. Change of subject is allowed only with the permission of the Principal. Change of faculty, i.e. from Science to Arts and vice versa, is permissible only if the candidate has the required percentage of marks as specified for admission to that faculty.

5. College authorities may discontinue a course of study in case adequate number of students are not available in a particular course.

6. Roster for reservation of seats in various categories shall be as per rules of Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery in Mumbai
