Encircling the vision of ladies strengthening, and for the effective childhood of an energetic social collection, a need for ladies instruction was distinguished. The introduction of Little Flower resulted on first July 1955 at Mammiyoor in the explorer town Guryvayoor, understanding the value of advanced education by the administration and the group of friends.

The virtual acknowledgment of the perfect bud of training spread its lady wings with the initiation of the school by His Excellency, the Bishop benefactor, Rev. Dr. George Alappat, Bishop of Thrissur, scufolded by our first chief Rev. Sr. Mary Victoria. 

The school was built up and is sustained by the serving spirits of Franciscan Clarist Congregation and is suited under the religious ward of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Thrissur. The brilliant moto of the school 'Duc in Altum' jump start out into the profound , try at the comprehensive developing of body, psyche and soul safeguarding humanness of being. 

Despite the fact that the school had its inception as a piece of the University of Madras, it was later partnered to the Kerala University in 1957 and after that to the instructive shelter of the University of Calicut in 1968. The school started its working as a Second Grade College and in March 1957 the school was raised to a first grade one by starting B. Sc Mathematics and B.A Economics as a piece of the set up Courses
