Why Indian Statistical Institute Pune?

Welcome to Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), an interesting P. C. Mahalanobish establishment dedicated to the examination, instructing and utilization of insights, characteristic sciences and sociologies. Established by Professor P.C. Mahalanobis in Kolkata on seventeenth December, 1931, the establishment picked up the status of an Institution of National Importance by a demonstration of the Indian Parliament in 1959. 

The Headquarters of ISI is situated in the northern edge of the city of Kolkata. Furthermore, there are four focuses situated in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Tezpur. Research in Statistics and related controls is the essential movement of the Institute. Instructing exercises are attempted essentially in Kolkata, Delhi and Bangalore. Workplaces of the Institute situated in a few different urban communities in India are fundamentally occupied with tasks and consultancy in Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research'.
