Why Baba Shri Chand Ji Government College?

Open at Baba Siri Chand Ji Government College, Sardargarh, Bathinda-Gidderbaha main road, 24 km (west) and 6 km (east) from Gidderbaha, Pollution-free, distant, fatiguing is located. The inauguration of this college was started in July 1970 by Guru Gobind Singh College, Gidderbaha at that time. Prakash Singh Badal was done with the curls. The main purpose of this college was to encourage the rural youth of the area in educational, cultural and sports.

The organization continued to serve the area until October 1997. During this time, the college was affiliated with Punjab University, Chandigarh. To provide more educational facilities in the area, the Punjab Government took this college into its hands-on 20.10.97 and it became known as Guru Gobind Singh Government College, Gidderbaha. At this time, Dera Lang donated 20 acres of land for the college at village Sardargarh, in which a magnificent two-story building was constructed on the battlefield by the Punjab Government and the new building (Sardargarh) was constructed on the day of New-Punjab Day in 1998. 

Now, this college belongs to Punjabi University, Patiala, in the district of Bathinda and it has been renamed to Baba Siri Chand Ji Government College, Sardargarh (Bathinda). Currently in college ਏ. The first, second and third classes cover Punjabi, English and computer education, along with the topics of Geography, Political Science, Hindi, History and Physical Education. The library and the large reading room are also part of the college building to enhance students' knowledge. Featuring 15 large rooms, an auditorium, administrative block, a computer room and a new furniture college. The countryside offers a natural backdrop to the open playground fields for young people to get their hands on.
