G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science, a main Engineering school in Hyderabad for ladies, was established by late Sri G.Pulla Reddy garu in 1997, with a goal of giving astounding learning offices to ladies to seek after instruction in Engineering since two decades. The point is to advance Technical Education among ladies to upgrade and develop another age of masterminds, trailblazers and organizers in the domains of Science and Technology. GNITS got UGC independent status for a long time from 2018 and is associated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU-H), Hyderabad. It is endorsed by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), licensed by NAAC and NBA (AICTE) and ISO 9001:2015 Certified Institution. It is today considered as outstanding amongst other designing universities in Hyderabad giving incredible situations and sustaining young ladies as technocrats and trend-setters. Macintosh Lab was supported and introduced by Mr.Tim Cook, CEO of M/s APPLE Inc. in 2016 which empowered GNITS to verify a one of a kind spot among all other Engineering Colleges in South India. The school set up different research focuses to oblige the requirements of research exercises of workforce and understudies. School has Institutional participation with different expert bodies like ISTE, IEI, CSI, IEEE and IETE. Different acknowledgments for the school certainly affirm the quality kept up. "AICTE Internshala Award" by AICTE in August, 2018. GNITS – NPTEL Local Chapter Secured 47th Rank with 'AA' Rating.
