Muslim Educational Society(MES) Training College is a self financed college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). MES has carved a niche for itself in the field of education and a new feather has been added to its cap with the commencement of the Traning College in the month of June 2005.
Being a part and parcel of the prestigious and multifarious social set up, the MES Training College has everything to be proud of. NCTE-National Council for Teacher Education
B.A/B.Sc Degree of the University of Calicut or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto under 10+2+3 pattern with 50% marks in Part � I+II+III together /50% Marks for Part-III alone or Master Degree in the same subject with minimum 50% marks or 10+2+5 pattern for Integrated M.Sc Course or 10+2+3+2 pattern for M.Com. However 10+2+3 Pattern is not insisted for B.A/B.Sc Degree holders under liberalized scheme of the University of Calicut.
Bachelor�s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks are eligible for admission to the programme.
Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Universities outside Kerala should submit Equivalency Certificate stating that their qualifying examination is recognized by the Calicut University, for seeking admission to B.Ed Degree course in a particular optional subject, along with their application.
Double or Triple main candidates or candidates who passed the Degree Examination in Vocational or Specialized Courses are also eligible for admission. However, they have to submit copy of the Equivalency Certificate along with their application.
Academic eligibility should be satisfied as on the last date for submission of application.
The minimum requirement of marks for admission to B.Ed Courses with 50% marks in Part I+II+III together/50% Marks for Part �III along in Bachelor�s Degree [Science /Arts Subjects] or 50% marks in Post Graduation for Commerce/Computer Science options in the concerned discipline (No rounding off of the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is permitted.)
Boys Hostel
The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Girls Hostel
The college has provided a hostel facility for the girl's students. It is situated very near to the college.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
Library
The college has a well-stocked and a well-furnished library is provided. The library has sufficient periodicals, magazines, journals, and news bulletins. etc.
Sports
The college has sports facilities for all the students.
Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for all the staff and students.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for all the events and seminars.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has computer lab consists of adequate computers with all required software and other accessories that are aimed at the promotion of computer-assisted learning/e-learning.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students as follows: Psychology Lab:- Psychology being the most important part of the B.Ed. Curriculum. The college has provided a well-equipped and organized psychology lab, aimed for the better development of each teacher-student. Science Lab:- The science lab of the college provides facilities for experiments for school-level students.

College provides internship. stipend in the last year that is house surgeoncy year is 5000 rs per month, placements are not there in our course. internship is completed after working for 365 days.
