The placement cell is not really recommend. We don't get to interact with many placement opportunity. Mostly every person going for a BA degree, also goes for Master's degree but usually 90 percent of the students from across India prefer preparing for government jobs.Placement and job opportunities were just ok. As it was arts, there was a less placement. But Placement cell work hard to grab different opportunities. Many of students learnt different skills from here and opened self art galleries. The placement and job opportunities of Gargaon College are amazing. The placement cell works tirelessly to organise seminars and workshops for our skill development. The students are placed in good companies .Gargaon College has a strong placement cell with an experienced placement officer who has contacts with experts from all industries and take necessary measures for students placement in various verticals of industry. Besides the institute also arranges internships so that students get a flair of real life projects.Placement and job opportunities were too less. As it was arts stream no company visited the college. But the students got valuable arts skills from here. So most of the students open their own art galleries and rest of the students go for the competitive examinations. The internship opportunity if you purse BA from college or university has to be the same. This might be because there are so many students pursuing BA all over the world so there is a lot of competition.A separate department is formed just to monitor the placement and jobs for the students and the chances at the college are quite appropriate. Students get a chance to work at several institutes and organizations with average pay at first. There are appropriate opportunities for internships by the college. The college doesnt have a very good placement record. One reason could be that not many students here opt to work after graduation. Most of the students prefer to do their post graduation first and then go for jobs.
