To provide educational opportunities to the children and youth of this region Nutan Vidyalaya Society was started by the Advocate Late Sri Vithalrao Deulgaonkar, the inspiration drawn from the great freedom fighter Sri Balgangadhar Tilak. A School started in 1907 with 7 students and 1 teacher has grown in to a big banyan tree of education. Apart from schools in Kannada, English and Marathi medium we run Degree Courses in Arts, Science, Commerce & B.Ed. To quench the thrust of technical people we have a Polytechnic College. M.Com. and M.A. Music are centers of Post Graduate Studies in our society. Society has also started an International School in collaboration with Academy for Creative Teaching (ACT). Bangalore . Our degree college was started in the year 1979 with Arts and Commerce faculties. Science faculty was added in 1987. N.V. Degree college is one of the most prestigious institutes in the KALYAN KARNATAKA region. The educative programs undertaken all through the year. College is struggling hard for academic, social and cultural excellence of our students. The college was accredited at 'A' level in 2004-05 and it was re-accredited in 2012-13 at 'A' Grade with a CGPA of 3.32 and college is getting ready for third cycle of NAAC.
