Committed to the cause of education and empowerment of women and imbibing moral and ethical values in them, Sevadal Mahila Mahavidyalaya has come a long and luminous way since its inception. The college, re-accredited with Grade ‘A’ by NAAC, has established as one of the premier institutes for women affiliated to the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. The Principal of the college Hon’ble Prof. Pravin Charde has carved niche in the academic arena by pounding up many courses besides running the basic streams successfully. The College offers wide range of programme options for the students in all the three faculties of Science, Home Science and Arts at UG level; Post Graduation in Zoology, Environmental Science and Chemistry; Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Industrial Waste Treatment Technology, Medical Laboratory and Molecular Diagnostic Technology, Food Preservation and Nutraceuticals and Nutrition and Dietetics and Community College in Textile (Fashion Designing). The college also offers PG Diploma in Ornithology and Environmental Biotechnology & UGC sponsored Career Oriented Programmes. The college has an affiliated Research Academy where students can pursue research to obtained Ph. D degree in Zoology, Environmental Science, Microbiology and Chemistry.The college has launched UGC sponsored skill based Vocational courses and add-on-courses looking at the needs of industries to develop technically skilled personnel so as to create more employment avenues for the students.
The sincere, qualified and versatile faculties of the college are dedicated to the cause of providing quality education to the students as well as for their personality development. Though the primary objective is to give higher education to girl students, Sevadal Mahila Mahavidyalaya also strives hard to inculcate social, moral and cultural values among the students. Students are constantly motivated to participate in Co-curricular, Sports, Cultural and all such activities so as to foster their creativity, potential and talent. Seminars and Workshops are an integral part of the college activities. Various extension activities are regularly carried out through NSS, Nature club, Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti, Organ Donation, Donation to Orphanages, Save Bird Save Nature, Lions Club and Extension Education Departments of the college.

Girls Hostel
Girls hostel is provided within the campus having single & double bed occupancy with a capacity of 100 students. It is also provided with the facilities of a mess, internet, library & indoor games.
Library
The college has a fully computerized spacious library with around 12819 books. Reputed journals of international and national standards of about 64 in number add value to the essential knowledge base of the library. Digital library with DELNET access facilitates e-learning as an additional feature. A separate reading room with great ambience is available for quiet reading. College library has a book bank facility for deserving students & also books under social welfare schemes are available for SC students. The library is open late in the evening also for students of the hostel as an exclusive facility. Xerox facility is also available.

Form semester 7 students are eligible for campus placements In recent times companies like TCS, Infosys,quick heal, Mahindra, etc have visited & packages of almost 300000-800000 offers made, The highest package is 800000 and the average package is 300000. 80% of students got placed. I want a good job after getting degree.
