Why Health & Family Welfare Training Centre?

The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), was set up on ninth March, 1977 by the merger of two national level establishments, viz. the National Institute of Health Administration and Education (NIHAE) and the National Institute of Family Planning (NIFP). The NIHFW, a self-ruling association, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, goes about as a 'pinnacle specialized foundation' just as a 'might suspect tank' for the advancement of wellbeing and family welfare programs in the nation.
