Why Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy?

The Nitte Rural Physiotherapy Centre was established in September 2007 at Nitte, to deal with the problem of lack of Physiotherapy services within the Coastal a part of the state. With the steerage of Dr Naveenchandra Shetty, a retired advisor Physiotherapy with four decades of expertise within the field of mental state in Australia, the Centre supports, treats and provides community care to the unsound together with psychosocial and activity rehabilitation. In 2013, Nitte Rural psychiatrical Centre moved to a spacious building. the bottom floor has medical speciality patient services, general medical patient services, casualty, minor operation theatre and laboratory. The lower ground floor has a dental centre and also the 'Thunder' Rehabilitation Centre. The Department of medical speciality, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy runs the centre.
