The Institute of Cooperative Management, Guwahati, is one of the nineteen Institutes of Cooperative Management in the nation and capacities under the general authoritative control of National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), New Delhi, being supported by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India.
The Institute was set up in 1974. At the underlying stage, all the seven conditions of North Eastern Region were under its locale for broadening preparing needs of center level staff of Cooperative Department and Institutions. After foundation of another Institute at Imphal in the year 1986 the ward of this Institute currently limits to the conditions of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Mizoram.
