Saint Kabir College of Education Kauli, Distt. Patiala was established in the year 2005 with the main objectives of creating dedicated teachers, globally competitive and committed to share social resposibility for nation building. Focusing this vision, the college pursued to be the best institution with regard to Teacher education imparting high quality education in the region by bagging academic posiotions in the Punjabi University Patiala. It provides B.Ed., D.E. Ed. and M.A. Education courses.Ours is a premier and pride institution with a mission of providing excellent academic environment for optimum all round growth of personality with special emphasis on moral development, social service and community linkage. Under the able support of the management and vision of the institute, the spectrum of the college activities had enhanced to a remarkable extent.The college has its own green belt in its surroundings to provide hygenic work condition for the students and faculty. The infrastructure has been created, keeping in the mind the future needs as well as to remain leader among the other similar institutions. The college campus presents a very beautiful view, having Lush Green Lawns, Spacious Play Grounds, Satisfactory Transport Facility, Rich Library, Audio Visual Room, Seminar Hall, Big Halls, Well Equiped Sports Room, Computer Lab, Music Room, Fine Arts Room, all are well equipped with latest material resources in the best possible manner to get excellent results in all the spheres.

Computer Laboratory
Considering today's need for computerization, our College is proud to have all the infrastructure facilities in certain faculties such as Commerce, Geography and Mathematics. These departments have their own computer laboratories with modern equipment and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Mathematica, Matlab, Latex, C++ software, etc.) to meet the needs of students. In addition, the library also has an e resource center, which provides access to e resources among other things.
Library
Shahid Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized barcode library. The library has a computer lending system with barcodes. We have two computers dedicated to OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) book searches. This collection is enriched by his over 86,796 books on various research fields. The library also subscribes to over 100 of his periodicals in various fields (national and international, specifically Harvard Business Review, The Economist, etc.). The library also has a small computer lab for accessing electronic resources subscribed to by the College of Delhi through the College's intranet and the Internet. The Library also holds orientation programs from time to time and provides orientation in electronic resources for accessing bibliographic databases and full text databases available through the College's intranet and the INFLIBNET Consortium and Information Literacy Program. Students are encouraged to inquire about various library services with Dr. Puja Anand Gulati, Librarian.
Canteen
The College campus has a spacious and well ventilated canteen building with ample seating, separate from the academic blocks. We provide students and faculty with a variety of snacks, food, tea, coffee, and other beverages at low prices. The canteen committee monitors food quality, care and hygiene. A proposal to renovate the cafeteria was recently approved by the Building Committee and Board of Directors.
Seminar Rooms
The College has two seminar rooms equipped with state of the art equipment. The College organizes seminars, workshops and lectures with the active participation of students and teachers. Prominent scientists and experts from academic and business organizations are invited to interact with students and give lectures.

Education course is made on the basis of securing minimum 50% marks in B.A. and 10+2 respectively. The intake capacity of college for B.Ed. course is 100 seats for both boys and girls. The details of seats on the basis of different categories is sent to the Punjabi University as guided by the University.The candidates are required to present the original certificates issued by the appropriate authority along with other required document at the time of admission. The candidates selected for admission will be required to deposit the dues and three passport size photographs immediately. Fee once paid shall not be refunded in any way whatsoever.Candidates from the Universities other than Punjabi University may be admitted provisionally provided they are otherwise eligible and fulfill the requirements of the regulations concerning the examination. This will, however be subject to the confirmation by the Punjabi University. Such candidates are required to submit in the college the following documents etc. within fifteen days of their admission in the college.Original certificates (along with self attested photocopies) of the examination passed by the candidates. Migration certificate in case of candidates who have graduated from a university other than Punjabi University.

Placements: About 70% of the students were placed from our course. In our course, the average salary package offered ranges from 10 LPA to 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered ranges from 15 LPA to 20 LPA. Many primary and secondary schools recruit students from our course. Only 22% of the students get internships from our course in top secondary schools like Sarvodaya School or School of Excellence, etc. Many roles are offered in our course.Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our course are very good. Classrooms are very clean and hygienic. Labs are good, but some substances are not available. The library is also good and equipped with books. But Wi-Fi is not available in our course/department. The quality of the facilities provided in our course is good, but some important things are not available. The quality of the food available in the mess is good, but sometimes it will have a foul smell and taste. Canteens are good, but cleaners do not clean them daily. Medical facilities are good. Sports are also good, and all the equipment is available.Faculty: Teachers in our course are very helpful, attentive and good. They teach very well, and they attend classes daily. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very well. The course curriculum is relevant and supportive. It makes students industry-ready.Other: I chose this course because I am interested in teaching. Moreover, Delhi University is best for this course, and teachers are also good. Our college is also clean and hygienic. I think DU college needs to be improved more. Our college is also crowded, and the events organised are also good and enjoyable here. I got a scholarship also.
