Why St. Thomas School of Nursing?

St. Thomas College of Nursing is a unit of "The Educational Institutions of Archdiocese Changanacherry". It is open, similar to all other Educational Institutions under Catholic protection, to all people regardless of religion, standing or network. 

St. Thomas College of Nursing, Chethipuzha was perceived by the Indian Nursing Council vide Order No: 18-16/2833 dated 22/12/2005. Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, vide Order No: 45282/02/NC and is subsidiary to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHAS). 

The College of Nursing began working in September 2002, with 50 admissions to B.Sc. Nursing. The undeniable school building was introduced in Chethipuzha grounds on 06/01/2004 by His Beatitude Ignatius Cardinal Mooza Davood, Perfect of the Congregation for Oriental Churches and was honored by His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil. The recently manufactured lodging for young ladies was honored by His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil, on fourteenth August 2005 and named after St. Alphonsa. In 2012, the decennial year of the school, Post Graduate Nursing system was authorized. The first in-take of understudies of M.Sc. Nursing (Medical and Surgical) joined on first October 2012. This course is held under alliance of the Kerala University of Health Sciences and with the acknowledgment of INC and KNMC.
