The Academy of Management and Information Technology (AMIT), perceived by the Government of Orissa, Department of Higher Education and partnered to the Utkal University, is the chief organization, giving training in the circle of Biotechnology, Journalism and Mass Communication, Management and Information Technology. It is a unit of "Odisha Research and Development Center (ORDC)", trust which is overseen by a Council of Management, comprising of famous Scientists and qualified experts from driving Industries, Research Scholars from different labs and research focuses, the executives and I.T. experts, Journalists, Academicians, Administrators and driving open characters. 

The significant goal of AMIT is to give world-class training. Its point is to prep and sustain youthful abilities of the nation who want to take up Biotechnology, Bio-Informatics, Genetic Engineering, Biochemistry, and Microbiology, Journalism and Mass Communication, Management and Information Technology as a vocation in their life. 

So as to confront the rising difficulties of Scientific and innovative upheaval, we have made up the strong move to offer concentrated and need based program of studies, prompting the college level of Master of Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC), M.Sc.Biotechnology, M.Sc.Bioinformatics, B.Sc. Biotechnology(Hons.), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) to hopeful competitors of the nation. The projects are affirmed by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Orissa, and Utkal University. MJMC, M.Sc.Biotechnology, B.Sc.(Hons.) Biotechnology, BBA and BCA projects are perceived by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Orissa and subsidiary to Utkal University and COPA program is associated to NCVT, Government of India. After effective fruition of the course understudies get the MJMC, M.Sc.Biotechnology, B.Sc. Biotechnology(Hons.), BBA and BCA degree from the Utkal University. The individuals who effectively complete the COPA course will get a declaration from NCVT.
