Andhra University isn't only one of the most established instructive foundations in the nation, but on the other hand is the first to be considered as a private and educating cum-affiliating University, essentially committed to post-graduate instructing and research. Previous President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was one of its Vice-Chancellors who succeed Dr. C. R. Reddy in 1931. The University College of Arts was initiated on 1 st July, 1931. The debut courses were Telugu language and writing, History, Economics and Politics. After a year, the College of Science and Technology appeared with Honors courses in Physics and Chemistry. The University spearheaded in presenting numerous new courses in Science, Arts, Management and Engineering in the nation.
