Smt. Giriyamma .R. Kanthappa Shresti Women's First Grade College is one of the celebrated schools in Davanagere University. The Poura Seva Samithi, having understood the need for a different school for ladies in Harihar town, began this school in 1984. As far back as its foundation, the school has seen an enduring development as far as both quality and amount.
