Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women, began in 1968, was conceded self-governing status in 2006 and reached out in 2013. There are 10 courses at the under alumni level in the Aided structure. In oneself financing structure there are 13 Under Graduate courses 11 Post Graduate courses and 4 M.Phil. courses. Divisions of History and Tourism, Statistics,Physics, Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology, Computer Science and Commerce have been overhauled as Research Departments. College of Madras has allowed Ph.D guideship to 22 staff individuals. Adding to this, 20 are perceived as M.Phil bosses in day and night stream. The College is reaccredited with 'A+' grade by NAAC in third cycle held in December 2016. It conveys an exclusive expectation of training and order through submitted staff that makes understudies more shrewd and more grounded. The Board of Studies plans and creates profession arranged and socially gainful educational plan, with improved substance, which is affirmed by the Academic Council and Governing Body of our College.
