Named after one of the contributors and Vice Presidents of the Vignana Jyothi Society, VNRVJIET tied down its connection to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTUH), Hyderabad and was set up with the authorization of The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Andhra Pradesh.
