MIMS College of Nursing is approved by the reputed INC, and is affiliated with KUHS, Thrissur. Management of MIMS College of Nursing, Malappuram is working under Dr. Assuma Beevi T.M (Principal).

50% of the allotted seats come from Government Quota and the balance 50% is for the management to fill. Each Management quota application will be considered by the college selection committee with respect to the following: - Marks obtained in 10+2 examination or equivalent.
Should have passed the Intermediate examination with Biology, Physics, and chemistry as optional subjects or Intermediate vocational Nursing examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate examination, A P or any examination recognized as equivalent there to.
Should have secured not less than 50% of marks in optional subjects of the Intermediate examination or equivalent examination.
In case of SC /ST candidates it shall not be less than 45% of marks.
Physical fitness must be ensured by certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
