Admission to the course is based on university-level counseling which is based on the score obtained in the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT).
The remaining 20% of seats are decided on the basis of the score obtained in 10+2 or the rank obtained in JEE-Main.
On the Basis of Board Merit: Minimum 80% aggregate marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (classes X & XII), and minimum 80% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (class XII).
