10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Vocational Subjects/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practice/Agriculture/Technical Graphics/Business Management with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in the above subjects Diploma Examination (Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates). However, in case of vacancies not filled through lateral entries, vacancies may be filled in the first year.
Candidates have to appear for the entrance exams conducted by various universities.
