In 1954, Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe along with a select few supportive friends took an oath at the Mridhar temple to establish an institution on the banks of the Krishna Koyna river in Karad town. Finally, on October 19, 1954, he founded an organization named 'Shree Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha'. Activities began with the slogan "Dissemination of education for knowledge, science, and culture." Therefore, the headquarters of this institution was placed at Budhwar Peth, Gangavas Rajharsh Shahu High School. It is currently located within Tarabai Park. This institution has five branches, one of which is 'Kamala Neru Adhya Pika Vidyalaya'. Dr. Bapuji Salunke's main concern was women's education. An educated woman can educate her entire family. "Matruhasten Bhojanam" According to this proverb, a woman teacher can teach good manners and culture lessons to all the students in her class with love and affection. With this generous objective, the 'Kamala Nehru College of Education' was established on June 9, 1955. To date, many students have received an excellent education and continue to work for the primary mission across the state of Maharashtra. From June 9, 2005 to June 9, 2006, this year will be celebrated as the Golden Year with various cultural and social activities. The total capacity of the university is 40 students. In-house training includes two classes. To ensure you get all the benefits, our well-trained and experienced faculty staff will provide you with valuable advice. All necessary facilities will be provided by the institution according to the needs of the students. There is a really enthusiastic and happy atmosphere throughout the university campus and surrounding area.
