Indian Institute of Packaging in Mumbai Admission 

The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) is a national apex body established in 1966 by the packaging and allied industries and the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, with the specific objective of improving packaging standards in the country. The Institute is an autonomous organization operated under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce. The institute strives to improve packaging standards needed to promote exports and build infrastructure facilities for overall improvement of packaging in India. This has been achieved through the institute's diverse activities, which are now aligned with those of leading packaging institutes around the world. The institute aims to make India a center of modern development in the art, science, technology and engineering of packaging. The institute had a very humble beginning with an office in Mumbai. The company has now grown and is headquartered in Mumbai with branches in Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Admission Process of Indian Institute of Packaging in Mumbai

1. Candidates wishing to enroll in the first-year course should apply online. Complete forms must be submitted via the College website.

2. Applicants must upload original documents and a recent passport size photo.

3. The admission form recommended by admission committee and approved by the Principal entitles a candidate to deposit the prescribed fee within the stipulated period.

4. Change of subject is allowed only with the permission of the Principal. Change of faculty, i.e. from Science to Arts and vice versa, is permissible only if the candidate has the required percentage of marks as specified for admission to that faculty.

5. College authorities may discontinue a course of study in case adequate number of students are not available in a particular course.

6. Roster for reservation of seats in various categories shall be as per rules of Indian Institute of Packaging in Mumbai
