Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering, located at Aundh, Pune, was approved in 2005 by the Government of India to conduct aviation maintenance engineering course. As the regulatory requirements have changed to meet the challenge of the 21st century, the institute has also been approved under the latest regulations, namely CAR-147 (Basic), by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation Application, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. . from India. This CAR is issued under Rule 133B of the Aeronautics Rules, 1937 originating from the Aeronautics Act, 1934 (all up to 1934) passed by the Indian Parliament. The institute is one of the best and progressive institutes under the name of SHA-SHIB GROUP, which is famous as the largest corporation in South Asia for training in the field of aviation maintenance engineering. The candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or have completed a three-year diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Engineering Aviation from a board or 'a recognized university. In addition, the student must undergo a medical examination before admission to the Institute by a medical practitioner (endorsed and certified by a registered medical practitioner holding at least MBBS degree) and his/her age. The applicant at the time of admission must not be less than 14 years.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
Admission procedure Application for admission must be made according to the prescribed form attached to the Prospectus. Application forms filled in properly and accurately in capital letters must be submitted along with the prescribed application fee. Applicants who wish to be admitted to the course must attach the following documents to the application form.

Library : We believe that libraries play an important role in delivering the school curriculum. It aims to provide material that supports classroom learning and helps teach students the skills they need to become literate, informed and able to face the world. Our library gives students access to a wide range of resources through its extensive collection of books, newspapers, magazines and journals.
Hostel : The institute provides dormitory accommodation for students coming from outside. For female students, there are separate regulations regarding dormitory accommodation.
Mess Facilities : This mess will be completely managed and shared by the students. Students are responsible for paying the actual cost of their contribution. Mess also remains mandatory for dormitories. Annual dormitory fees do not include mess fees.
Classrooms and laboratories: Classrooms and laboratories are spacious and airy, equipped with projectors and audio-visual equipment. The Institute also has its own plane for training purposes.
