Tura Polytechnic was begun in 2003 under the world bank helped venture tech. ed. III. At first it was housed at govt. young men higher optional school Tura from 2003 to 2005 preceding moving to its present area at Cherangre close Tura Public school. The primary head of this foundation was Mrs. Babina T. Sangma from 2003 to 2007. The polytechnic gives offices to think about in confirmation courses in Engineering after S.S.L.C. (10+). The fundamental destinations of the Polytechnic courses of studies are to deliver expert at supervisory level to fulfill the need of Technician labor in different fields of advancement.
