Why Hajee Karutha Rowther Howdia College?

The Hajee Karutha Rowther Howdia College was set up in the year 1956 by the Late Hajee Mohamed Meeran Rowther, prominently known as Hajee Karutha Rowther. 

The Institution, Hajee Karutha Rowther Howdia College, has satisfied the fantasies of its author by being licensed with the most pined for 'A' Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the year 2005. Plus, the "BEST COLLEGE AWARD FOR COMMUNAL HARMONY" at the University level was presented upon the College in 2005, by Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. 

At present, the school has been Re-Accredited at "A" Grade, with a CGPA of 3.26 out of 4.00 by NAAC, Bangalore. The school has been deliberated with crisp Autonomous status by the UGC, from the Academic year 2013-2014 to 2018-2019. 

Having praised the Diamond Jubilee year (1956-2016), the College ventured into its 60th year of administration to the individuals of this locale. The insignia of Hajee Karutha Rowther College is a shield separated into four sections with a hover in the center. 

At the upper right is an open book, the Holy Qur'an speaking to Divine Wisdom and Knowledge. 

At the upper left is a lotus. This ruler of blooms is our National blossom. It recommends assortment, evenness and solidarity.
